Operational leasing
From a technical point of view, the new Elsa service offers an operating lease or operational rental solution as an alternative formula to purchasing. The solution allows a business, against payment of a termly fee, to dispose of the equipment for a predetermined duration. The fee may include, in addition to the commodity itself, various additional services such as technical support, supply of consumables and more.
From a legal point of view, the transaction involves two or three parties: the seller, who completes the transaction with an intermediate party; the lessor, who purchases the goods and then leases them to the user, who becomes the leaseholder.
The operating lease provides for a lease for a certain period of time, at the end of which the lessee has several options:
- return the goods;
- renew with a later or updated version;
- extend the term of the contract;
- purchase the goods from the supplier at a predetermined value.
Difference to leasing
Unlike leasing, renting is not a financial transaction aimed at the purchase with subsequent repayment of the asset at a predetermined interest rate.
The advantages
The operational leasing service offers the customer several advantages:
- No hidden costs, the costs are defined and secure;
- Flexibility in contract duration, instalment payments and additional services;
- Non-utilisation of company liquidity for the purchase;
- Deductibility of the entire fee for IRAP and IRES purposes;
- Deduction for VAT purposes;
- No depreciation of the asset;
- The use of the preferred Supercombinata line borer;
- Quality repairs leading to time and cost savings.
Operational leasing is particularly suitable for technological goods, as it avoids high procurement costs and guarantees a product that is always up to date, without the risk of owning an obsolete or uncompetitive good compared to the market offers. You can choose any of the Supercombinata portable boring line borers with the corresponding additional packages.
How to apply for the service
The process leading to the conclusion of an operating lease contract consists of the company supplying the commodity adding this "sales option" to its traditional offer. A contract is then concluded with a financing company, which purchases the equipment according to the specific requirements of the user, who is referred to this company by the manufacturer. The customer receives the equipment and pays a fixed fee, which may also include scheduled maintenance services. At the end of the contract, the customer has the option to terminate the contract through a final invoice or to extend the contract under new conditions.
